Hear from some of our residents, guests, and families about their experience with Auburn Village.
Phil suffered a debilitating fracture that necessitated inpatient rehabilitation. Through this program, he learned adaptive and compensatory strategies to mobilize and perform self-care and independent daily living tasks, considering his fracture and weight-bearing status. Our dedicated team of therapists and nurses provided the essential support Phil needed during his recovery journey.
We are thrilled to see Phil express his gratitude for the care he received here. Equipped with valuable knowledge and skills, he is now prepared to return home safely. Although Phil is no longer under our care, we are confident that he will continue to thrive with the lessons he has learned.

Meet Sandra, Sandra was admitted for rehabilitation on the ventilator and requiring dialysis in early 2023. Sandra admitted NPO (nothing by mouth) and required extensive assistance for most daily care needs. She was dependent for transfers and was unable to walk upon admission. Through successful completion of rehab alongside respiratory and nursing care, Sandra was able to regain her strength, stability, and physical endurance to come off the ventilator and maintain her own respiratory support. She resumed an oral diet and was able to assist with her dressing, toileting, and bathing care using a walker for transfer and mobility support with minimal assistance. Sandra has returned home and reunited with her family, taking with her her new found quality of life and tips to keep her safe and healthy, way to go Sandra! Your hard work and determination have paid off! We wish you the best upon returning home!!

Following heart surgery in July 2016, Earl H. stayed at Auburn Village Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing and received a full treatment of therapy services. Five times a week, Earl went through physical, occupational to improve his strength and mobility, regain basic motor functions and more. On his last day at Auburn Village he reflected on his stay, “I loved it. The people were kind, sweet and very helpful.” The staff that assisted him in his daily activities held a special place in his heart and he remarked that he- “loved them all.”
The staff at Auburn Village is so proud of Earl for his speedy recovery. Earl is thankful as well, “If it wasn’t for therapy, I would not be where I am now. They are the best.”
I have been to Auburn Village before and service was excellent. The staff is always courteous and kind, and I’ve always been treated well. Bonita was a great nurse that always went the extra mile. I give Auburn Village two thumbs up, and if I ever need help, this is where I will come again.

I visit my friends at Wesley nursing home in Auburn, Indiana. I always found it quite charming with very friendly staff. My friends who live there would not change anything, but I was excited to see they are adding on a new edition and they are changing their name to Auburn Village. I am so delighted and look forward to visiting my friends in the ice cream parlor. I just hope as they grow, the warm friendly staff and the great care remains the same.

I could not find a rehab center for my sister who was on a ventilator close to my home. After traveling to visit my sister every other week, I learned how wonderful the staff were and was so pleased with her care. Once my sister was off the ventilator we were able to move her 15 minutes from home. I don’t miss the two hour trips but I do miss everyone and am grateful for the care she received.
