Visitor Strategies

Visitor Strategies

October 2024

Visitation is allowed, however additional infection prevention control practices may be implemented during times of outbreaks of respiratory illness or high levels of respiratory illness in the community. These practices may include wearing face masks or other personal protective equipment, physical distancing or limiting access to common areas of the facility.

If you are ill or have been in contact with others with COVID or flu defer your visit.

Follow all facility infection control guidance in place. Guidance will be posted at the entrance to the facility and throughout the facility. If you have a question, ask a member of the clinical team for additional information.

Always follow good hygiene, which includes simple steps such as washing or sanitizing your hands and covering your sneezes and cough.

We encourage our residents, families and visitors be up to date with vaccines during this respiratory illness season. Contact the Infection Preventionist for resident vaccine information or your medical provider for vaccines available to you.
