Dear Families and Visitors,
As we enjoy the last weeks of summer and prepare for the transition into fall, we want to take a moment to thank you for the trust you place in us to care for your loved ones. This time of year brings new beginnings, back-to-school activities, and the start of cooler evenings. It also means we begin turning our attention toward staying healthy as respiratory illness season approaches.
Our facility continues to prioritize the well-being of our residents, staff, and visitors. We encourage families and friends to practice healthy habits such as frequent handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home if you are feeling unwell. These simple steps go a long way in protecting our community.
In the weeks ahead, we will also be preparing for the availability of seasonal vaccinations, including flu and Covid-19 boosters, for our residents. Our nursing team will share information as these become available, and we welcome any questions you may have about the process. We also encourage visitors to consult with their healthcare providers about the benefits of staying up to date on their own vaccinations.
As always, if infection prevention measures are needed—such as wearing masks or additional protective equipment—we will clearly communicate this at the entrance and throughout the facility. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain a safe environment.
Beyond health precautions, we are excited for the upcoming season and the opportunities it brings to celebrate together. Our staff has planned engaging activities and events to keep spirits high and ensure residents feel connected and cared for. We look forward to sharing these special moments with you and your loved ones.
Thank you again for allowing us the privilege of caring for those most important to you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our team with questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Thank you,
Derek Moss
